Tara Le Feuvre is a student at Jersey International Business School, who is soon to complete the 2 year BSc (Hons) International Financial Services degree. Tara started working at Moore Stephens Jersey in November 2015 as part of an Undergraduate Employment Programme provided by the Business School and she has been spending 2 days a week with us to gain hands-on experience.
Moore Stephens decided on a rotational programme with Tara so that she may experience each department. We also aligned each placement with part of her studies, allowing her to apply the theory she learnt on her course to the workplace.
Tara said: “Not only have Moore Stephens been helpful with the rotational program aligning with my studies, they’ve also been great in terms of flexibility, allowing me study leave during exams and assignments, as well as being able to work extra days in my holidays.”
Moore Stephens prides itself on the type of people employed at the company; Tara has experienced help from many members of staff when required, taking the time out of their day to help her understand what they do.
“Moore Stephens has helped me to realise a career path that would best suit me as an individual, being very different to the path I originally found appealing purely through my studies. I’m very grateful for this opportunity that’s been afforded to me.”
Brona Lambert, Client Services Director at Moore Stephens, said: “Tara settled right into the team here at Moore Stephens, no matter what department she’s worked in. We have enjoyed having her here and we look forward to engaging with more young minds through Jersey International Business School and the Undergraduate Employment Programme.”
